Sudan embraces Israel’s annexation of Palestine, Chile to change constitution, Labour Party suspends Corbyn, Greenwald censored, Black Lives Matter has a PAC, etc.
Thoroughly enjoyed this man. I love the eclectic salad of information, particularly being a political geek. Do you envision a scenario where Palestine is eventually swallowed whole by Israel and the Palestinians become a homeless people like the Kurds? (Not that it's that far off from the current situation)
Thanks! Yes, in fact I just said to someone the other day that the Palestinians are positioned like the Kurds. So we're thinking on the same vibration, so to speak
Andy, good to hear from you! It's a legitimate question. I think yes. The main organizing principle of American foreign policy, not that it is very organized or very coherent at the moment, is aimed at anti-terrorism, power imbalance (trade war with China), and pro-Israel/Saudi Arabia maneuvering (it was Communism in the crosshairs when the coup in Chile happened). Chile just is not much on the radar. More to the point, the US is not in the same position of power that it was at that time.

Will the US allow Chile to write/enact a new Constitution?
